Tree of Life
A baobab is drawn floor to ceiling in bare branches and dense root-work, two birds perched in its crown and a small antelope sketched at its base. A handful of leaves are painted in soft green — the only colour on an otherwise pencil-grey tree.

The story
Drawn beside a spiral staircase so the tree climbs with you as you go. The baobab is famous for outliving everyone who plants near it; drawn leafless but for a few new leaves, it reads less like a dead season and more like one about to turn.
